Food Delivery for Homebound Seniors - Meals on Wheels

Our Homebound Meal Delivery Program provides Boulder City seniors age 60 and older—who are homebound or disabled—with a daily wellness check and a hot, nutritious meal delivered right to their door.

If clients wish, frozen meals can also be delivered on Fridays to cover the weekend, helping to ensure no one goes without.

This program is part of the national Meals on Wheels movement, which works to combat senior hunger and isolation by helping older adults stay healthy, independent, and connected—all from the comfort of their own homes.

What makes Boulder City special? We're proud to be the only Meals on Wheels program in Nevada with an all-volunteer team of drivers. These dedicated volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday with kindness, compassion, and a smile.

A referral is needed to qualify for the program.  Referrals can come from Physicians, Hospitals, or Social Workers. A home visit must occur to evaluate the need. Physicians, Hospitals, and Social Workers can fax a referral form to the center at (702)293-5628.

The program is partially funded through a grant from the State of Nevada’s Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD).
